But the main question: Did we at least win the throw-in count?

Phenomenal season, Roberto. Bravo. Taking us back to the pre-Moyes days in less than 18 months.

time for replay in football. and i'm going to punch the next Ingerland supporter I see who whines about the ghost goal against Germany in 2010 in the throat.

no right to whinge unless your own house is in order.

for whatever lapses and mistakes we've made, it's the second time in 10 days we've been bent over by horrid officiating against/at a BIG MONEY CLUB.

Money and incompetence rule the league.

It's a combination of everything. Bias refs and a big budget. How can you expect success against that. The odds are drastically stacked against you when not only are billionaire teams gifted goals against you but the fact that they are billionaire teams. It's why city are in a final they couldn't give a toss about.
Are Liverpool billionaires? or Swansea when they beat Bradford?

Deflection on first goal. Undeniably not the managers fault. Second goal ball out. Undeniably not the managers fault. Third goal Stones does nothing to get in front of Aguero and lets him glide in untouched with Coleman only coming back from injury. Undeniably NOT Martinez's fault.

I know some want him gone no matter what and these past two seasons have been immensely disappointing but people this is not one of those games that justify his sacking.

We were playing the gazillionaires and arguably best team in the land in a two legged semi final so we had no right to walk through as lots seem to expect here. To get through over two legs we would have had to be absolutely at the top of our game and them to be slightly below par. Unfortunately we were not good enough and it hurts but some serious overreaction here as is to be expected after a loss in a massive game but a bit of perspective needed. No manager would guarantee us a win in similar circumstances and we are out by one goal over 180 minutes.

Think what cheesed me of the most was if McCarthy and Coleman were fit enough to come on, then they should have started, taking Del off when he was our main outlet with pace on the break was a mistake as well.

Our whole game was based on counter-attack and we needed a second goal, we were never going to hold out at 1-1, and we took off our fastest most dangerous attacking player and the one player who provides top class service to Rom.
I can't be doing with delofeu diving little girl. Shouldn't play for us again

You know what, I really hope Martinez walks, deserves better support. You all did see Del blowing after an hour right? And Lukaku not getting much support? That's why Kone was brought on, to hold up the ball and bring Rom more into it. We still had Barkley's pace and Rom's to cause damage but it didn't happen did it? That's on the players themselves

Poor Martinez. He'd be a great manager if he didnt have to manage

Thank you. I was worried that I was going mad. Someone talking sense.
