Not being funny here, but can someone explain where the money went? We effectively swapped Fellaini for Lukaku, pretty much a wash. McCarthy was 13mil......so what happened to the other money from the huge Sky increase? Not having a go at the board or anything, but it was pretty clear a few more players were needed. Theres no way that money has been spent already.

I mean, we needed a AM and a LW in the summer, could have just got Tadic and covered those bases with one player

Has anyone scored a decent goal against us yet? Like today, the first was set up by us, I think, (good finish though) and the second was a mis-hit shot that went directly to a £50m striker ffs.

One of Cheseas was great, the last one, but we were 5-3 down, with 0 defenders on the pitch, so that doesnt count.

Pinnear was a bit out to sea but MU's 1st was well worked and that was a sick shot by DiMaria.

he's still a very good option to have for the squad. We need a winger in Jan though.

god i hope we go back for perisic. but a new centre back has to be priority - suppose we could always look at a loan for the centre back area and prepare properly for next summer.

That's a different issue all together, Martinez decided it was best for the club to spend his entire budget on one player

My breakdown of the season.

Leicester 2-2, should have won that thought Everton were ok.

Arsenal 2-2, played well for 80mins.

Chelsea 3-6, this game turned the season. I think we overreacted. Chelsea are going to win the league this season and we weren't very good that day. Questions were asked of the defense which didn't need to be asked.

West brom 2-0 deserved a win.

Crystal palace 3-2, game absolutely stolen.

Liverpool 1-1 first game where Everton didn't really play well, change of tactics to a 4-3-3 maybe an overreaction to shore up te defense. Didn't do enough to deserve a draw in my opinion.

Man U 2-1 deserved a draw, Everton were terrible for much of the game but a missed penalty and two out of this world saves. I don't like the way we played tho, too much long ball stuff.

We probably should have 12 points not 6. The injuries haven't helped. We have already played four of the six genuine top 4 challengers, and we can beat Tottenham. Worry when we are still bottom 3 halfway thru the season.

that wasn't anything to do with 'filossafee'. It was another individual error by someone who has made an error every game this season. Every man and his dog was expecting him to knock it out. Howard decided otherwise. Not Martinez.
