6 points from 7 matches and battered by Swansea in the League Cup. The only decent thing right now is we top our Europa League group.

We can't sugarcoat this lads, it's been dire.

It was dire in pre-season and our form has just carried on right into the season.

Agree but injuries have played a big part alongside distin and jags both acting like pub players throughout the season

Tim Howard is a massive dope.
We've equalised, looking at piling on the pressure, Tim Howard can see the whole pitch, meaning he can see Pienaar going down, so you expect him to web it into Row Z so that we can sub him off, nah, not Tim Howard, Tim Howard proceeds to web it straight at Rafael of whom starts the move off for their second goal.

Totally clueless, he also experience and he couldn't even kick the ball out, fuming with him.

"We'll be alright". that says it all. From thinking we had a top 4 chance two months ago. pure Everton.

If we want to have a go at Europa there's no chance we'd ever be in the run for Top 4. Last year was a mixture of chances, Arsenal imploding as usual, Utd faltering under Moyes and us having a relatively clear schedule

Has anyone scored a decent goal against us yet? Like today, the first was set up by us, I think, (good finish though) and the second was a mis-hit shot that went directly to a £50m striker ffs.

One of Cheseas was great, the last one, but we were 5-3 down, with 0 defenders on the pitch, so that doesnt count.

Chelsea's last one was a backheel to Mikel, then Costa went round two grounded centre backs.

It's just frustrates me that with some of our best starting XI players injured, the players we have to replace them, in comparison, are just dreadful. Hibbert for Coleman, Atsu/Pienaar for Mirallas, Osman for Barkley/McCarthy etc. The difference in class is huge and it is showing. Martinez needs to sort this ASAP. Few of his decisions today once again were baffling.

It's unfortunate that so many are out but the manager's strategy in the market over the summer shows that that was a risk he was willing to take. Spending 28m on Lukaku and believing that the rest of the squad were good enough for us to compete in the league, 2 domestic cups and Europe seems to have been Boby's point of view.

They had a stat up about 3 England defenders on aky the other day, Jags had a 90% pass completion rate and was well clear of the Cahill and Shawcross (the other 2 that they were comparing), shows how much we dick about with the ball

he's still a very good option to have for the squad. We need a winger in Jan though.

He's slow and tries to do to much. I think he should be a cheerleader if he stays with Everton. If he plays though Im going to have to start hating him like I did Neville.

we've got a few tough games out of the way though - teams like united have had loads of 3 point bankers and liverpool have had a fair few of them as well - palace at home is the only one of our first 7 that i'd say was a banker and well, howard happened. WBA was alaso very winnable and at least we did win that one, but chelsea, arsenal, RS and united as well as leicester away were all games you'd say a draw is probably expected.

our season needs to properly start after the international break - i think this team has the capability to go on a run and string some wins together and then we'll shoot back up the table 4th is still definitely possible, every other team around us has had a terrible result or two and will continue to do so throughout the season

Yea I think that's our biggest problem. What worked once at Arsenal is being tried over and over because secretly I think Martinez trusts Naismith more as our main striker and he's trying to fit Lukaku in.

Unfortunately Bobby. You spent 28m and your neck is on the line with this signing. You have to play him up tops and it either works or you'll be gone.

Naismith is also at his best hiding behind Lukaku and finding space away from where Rom is attracting attn. Naismith was largely ineffective at the lone CF role as well. I don't know we aren't playing 4-5-1/4-4-1-1.

It's all part of this nonsense 'Pass it, even when you are in a seriously dangerous position' filossafee. Total nonsense that has continued to cost us points, and will continue to cost us even more points.
