Have you just declared a six-pointer?

You know what'll happen though. Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool will each spend 40-70mil in January and strangely suddenly come into some form, whilst we'll somehow manage to hang on to Fellaini and get in someone from the SPL on loan.

I'd take that tbh.

Doesn't matter what the others spend, lets face it, they've spent gazillions for years now anyway ..compare the cost of the teams today, I'd be happy to keep this team with perhaps a loan in Jan..or ideally Donovan

Jelavic - 4 games without scoring now - and he is our only official striker - somehow that needs fixing urgently -
Naismith have had enough opportunity to show that he is not going to shoot the lights out - we have to give other benchers more gametime even at the expense of Jelavic. We are like the dog that chases the car and then catches it but does not know what to do with it next - our attacks build up too slowly and then fizzles out to nothing - midfield and defense are in general doing their bit lately but attack is blunt

Mirallias is back and Bale is out we win

FACT

Please note the above statement may or may not be fact. No claims are made or implied

Didn't see the game as was on a much delayed flight back from Tajikistan but loving the fact that we are slightly disappointed with only a draw......

Expectation is often a hard to satisfy friend

Exactly. You either get more defensive solidarity with Hibbert or you look to want to score goals with Coleman.

Coleman and Mirallas on the right look like Pienaar and Baines on the left. Hibbert lools lost in that attacking 3rd.

But the roles reverse in the defending stakes though

You stand more chance of not losing with defensive but less chance of actually winning

I would go with Coleman and Miralles and let the opposition be too busy worrying about them than attacking

wow
some real bell's on that Bluemoon.
Talk about no nothing glory hunters.Feel a bit sorry for their pukka fans, they must be soo embarrassed.
Starting to look like Rawk on there.

We need to give Naismith time, at least a season. People were saying the same about fellaini (including me) before giving him a chance to get used to the league.

Agreed, coming back from a bad injury.
Needs more match fitness but has still managed 3 goals this season.
Give the lad a chance.

I remember people saying the same about Bily and JMcF....all he needs is time to adapt and a run in a fixed position, though nobody knew exactly what that position was then and still don't now

Surely Mirallas has to be back for the spurs game? Expecting a fully fit him, Gibson, Fellaini, Pienaar and Osman in midfield - it'll make a massive difference hopefully. Let's see Jelavic back in the goals against the spuds. Hopefully Coleman might be fit again... surely Moyes can't make him fight for a place in the team when he is fit? Hibbert has to be an emergency player now... I'm hoping for a fully fit team soon.
