I thought we were more than comfortable and honestly didn't at any one moment feel like they were going to overpower us or score again in the game. We were easy in defence, not too bad in midfield although they enjoyed too much of the ball, and were rubbish up front once again. Does it all boil down to Fellaini being up there as to why Jelavic has turned rubbish? I can't remember him touching the ball against City, apart from getting a head on it in the build up to the goal. He needs a goal so badly.

Also, where is Mirallas? Typical of our luck that he gets a small injury and is kept out for ages! Wouldn't surprise me if he was out until the new year!

PS: Get Coleman back in ffs, Hibbert is an absolute liability.

PPS: One defeat away from 10th place now. How far away does that 'great start' seem now?

Mirallas was photoed training last Thursday i think so id assume he will be back for Spurs. Obviously wasnt fit enough to make the squad for City.

I think that's harsh mate. Our defense looked far more solid with Hibbert in there. Obviously we'll never know but I think we would have struggled a lot more with Coleman in defense. Coleman's strength is going forward which he wouldn't have had much of an opportunity to do, Baines didn't get forward on Saturday half as much as he usually does.

Garth Crook's TOTW has Fellaini in it, but instead of saying how good he was:

I really do not understand why Everton boss David Moyes in his post-match interview on Saturday couldn't see what the TV evidence was clearly showing everybody else. For the penalty from which Manchester City equalised, Fellaini lost Edin Dzeko as a set piece came into the box, panicked and pulled him down as a consequence. Nonetheless, the Belgian was the best player on the park.

I hate this man so much.
