I am convinced refs are determined we do not make a title challange that pen was an utter joke - compar it to the pens we have ben denied in past games it is a complete joke of affairs imo this is happening far too often!

Its not just the point away at city thats good.

Its that we went there and were the better team in the first half and they didn't look like scoring in the second.

Which once again shows up moists whole "knife to a gunfight" rubbish for what it is.

Did you not think it was very similar to how we've played on many occasions there? We often start well and have a lot of the ball, then eventually they get going, the ref starts giving them a few things and we're on the back foot for the rest of the game.

Mixed feelings. If you'd asked me before I would have taken the point. Based on the game we should have had the three. City never really troubled Howard, and we gave away a bad pen. I'll take it. But I'm not overjoyed.

You really do milk these nothing phrases way too much you know.

Great point, that. Can't believe how gash Arsenal are. If we can win against Spurs (no Bale, which is great) we'll have done absolutely brilliantly out of these three games and had the kick up our arses to surely start slotting the more gash teams.

For once I'm happy that we drew. Felt like we earned that point...
We could have even snatched all 3 at the end there!

One things for sure... We need Mirallas back ASAP!

Did anyone else think Yaya and Barry kept cynically fouling Pienaar, Oviedo and Osman? Seemed to be blocking off or tripping them up every few minutes in the second half.
Yep. How Toure wasn't bookedat least is beyond me - especially given the booking for Fellaini.

Kinda, but while we might tend to have a a little burst before they get going today we actually played better than them in an open game first half, they were still good but we were better.

Second half we were a bit deeper but its hard not to be against city, we still tried to get forward when we could as opposed to deliberatly sitting deep and then not getting forward because we were desperatly clinging on for a draw.

I'd say its a better all round performance than when we won there last time. We matched them instead of hanging on for our lives.

Have to say, Gibson is a marvellous player. We'll have to make the most of him while he's fit before he's injured again in a couple of weeks.

If Mirallas is fit for Spurs... oh my... we'll put out a full strength team ffs.

A good point as opposed to the bad points that we have been getting to date.

A few thoughts:
Jelavic - Stay on your feet, sometimes I think he spends too much time looking for a foul instead of fighting through and trying to create a chance.

Naismith - Right now plays very limited with the ball at his feet - thinks he makes some really poor touches and decisions. Strikles me as more of a sub when we need a late goal, (a bit like Cahill - Not in the air but a late arriving, ghost into the box player)

Gibson - we are so much better as he can control the ball under pressure and pick out a good pass.

Pinnear - touch appears a bit off past couple games - i think has given the ball away in the middle of the park a bit.

We really need Miralles back - He is so dangerous with the ball at his feet and opens up opportunities for Jela....

but then what do i know - I am just a yank....
don't put yourself down mate!! looks about right, especially re Naismith. win next week and we are still handily placed.
