The only way would be if Chelsea bought Rooney and lewondoski, then kept Torres and Etto as backup's, only then may they let Lakaku move on along with Ba. I just don't see it whatsoever, he'll be back there next season, dissapointadly probs just as a backup/squad player for them.

OTOH treat Belgian League stats with a pinch of salt. Hazard Jr scored as many as Michy this season, and everyone know that he's far from adequate for the Prem.

Hes not exactly coming across as a tim cahill type player who just bleeds blue. I was hoping he would fall in love with us tbh but i just dont see it happening.
Give RM a season to get a replacement and see where the tank can put us. If torres hits top form and they sign rooney, just about the best we could hope for is another year loan tbh.

What's the difference between him being on loan and playing well and moving on, and him being a 100% Everton player and playing well and moving on?

I feel Britain's approach to loans as ultimately a way for the player to develop is looking very, very backward. Just treat loans as transfers that has a definite expiry date, and stop the numerical limits or the artificial limits of not allowing a loanee to play against its mother team.
In Italy Serie A teams often started with 3 or 4 loanees, and maybe a few on compartecipazione(co-ownership).
I also hope he falls in love with Everton and that we sign him but cant see it happening.

Aston Villa was ridiculed by the majority of Belgian League watchers for spending that much on Benteke. Nearly everybody taught he'd turn out to be a massive flop. Benteke never scored more than 20 in Belgium.
