We Just got to hope he Carries on getting the goals to get into the champions league . If we do get CL football then chelsea might loaning him back to us but it's about this season that counts . We get champions league football we could sign someone like Hernandez and get another young striker like that west brom guy to play as second striker . We have stability we need to push on now and take advantage of other teams problems like spurs and utd

He was interviewed about how hes managed to settle in so quick and he said the players, staff and facilities or something. No mention of the fans and tbh I think were the only ones who can win him over to the point he would even consider signing for us.

There was a Sky Sport News interview befor the the Villa game. He said words to the effect of:

"I'm an Everton player at the moment. I conduct myself as an everton player. I try to behave as an Everton player. Every time I wear the shirt I play for Everton, I play for the fans that come to Goodison to try to make them happy by working hard, putting a shift in and trying to win all the games"

It was a broadcast interview, but no doubt it'll be on the website. It starts off discussing him vs Benteke

Have to say, first half especially his first touch lost the ball far more than it benefited us. That being said, he did really well to get the ball to Gerrard in the box which resulted in a chance and a corner. A rare thing today.

Read this morning that he's the league's 2nd most efficient goalscorer this season (Ramsey 1st, aguero 3rd)

What he can do, in and around the box, he is class at and we can enjoy a whole season of this.

However he is still learning the rest of the game and his touch is not great. He tries everything first time and doesn't hold the ball a second before linking.

We can enjoy the best of him this season but we will also have to accept that we will have to watch the poor parts of his game too as he is basically learning on the job here to get him ready to lead the line at Chelsea.
