Lukaku

He has a high opinion of himself. Talks about needing to play champions league football...he'd have to move abroad to a team in one of the lesser leagues then cause he ain't starting for any team in the major leagues.

From what i have been told we are going all out to get him in the summer, Martinez pushing Elstone over it.

Its clear to see that the manager, players and most importantly fans want him to stay, but you also get the feeling that he really really likes it here. He looks like the kind of lad who just wants to be loved and appreciated and he most certainly wouldn't get that at Chelsea IMO. If we can get Chelsea to agree a fee, i personally think he'd want to come here. If anything, and i dont want to sound small time etc, but we'd be a ridiculously good stepping stone for him.

I am not sure that CL will be scrambling over themselves to sign Lukaku. He is all about power and strength, but I think he lacks craft...at the moment.
I think it is difficult to say just how good a player he could become. But,if Mourinho is prepared to let him go then certainly he must have doubts.

I disagree. It's not hard for me to imagine Arsenal, Athletico Madrid, or Borussia Dortmund moving for Lukaku in the summer. All will be in need of new strikers and Lukaku definitely fits the bill.

Not sure he is a Wenger type player and its hard to see Mou letting him go there anyway. Atleti will probably take the Costa money and spend it on someone cheaper and better than Lukaku (or better than Costa for that matter, lets face it ever since they got rid of Torres they have upgraded the main striker every time they sold one). Dortmund is a possibility though Bayern's projected dominance and someone (lets face it its United) coming in for Klopp might dissuade anyone with genuine ambition going there.

Personally I think he will stay at Chelsea but go out on loan again, probably back here if we get in the Europa - it suits everyone involved and he has plenty of time.
