Anyome who scores a goal every 2 games roughly Is worth 20mil+ I think -- look at RVP for example even though hes massively injury prone. Lukaku on the other hand is only 20 years old so my guess would be anything up to 30mil.....

Yeah agreed. A 1 in 2 striker is almost impossible to find for less than that. I just think with the added factors of; his loss of form, Mourinho's seeming dislike for him and that Chelsea will almost certainly bring a top striker in during the summer might allow the price to drop slightly. Maybe that's me being overly optimistic, though.

Yeah they want Costa which could well involve Torres going back to Spain. I think his chelsea contract runs out 2016 so although it's still got a bit of time on it, realistically, with 2 years to run from this summer I don't think they'll be looking for £30m. If he wants to play and enjoys his run from now till the end of the season, I think we'll get him.

Recently he's been used as a target man and also tiredness with never having been rested have come into play.

Either way, if he scores on the weekend his record this season would be 1 in 2 I believe.

For WBA I think he was only a goal off the same record.

The amount of optimism people have about how "two 10m players" will turn out is just simply staggering. Check out this list ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_top_Premier_League_goal_scorers_by_season#2012.E2.80.9313 ... in recent years I can only see RVP, Bent, Henry, Nistelrooy and Ronaldo getting 15+ in two consecutive years. I may have missed one but that's not really the point -- the point is that it's a very short list of players. (Suarez will be added on this year.)

There are WAY less players who repeat 15+ (forget about 20+ ... that list is shorter) than I think most people expect. 20m+ is a steal for a player who could still appear on this list with a few more goals this year (at 20 years old!). Lots of teams buy 10m players every year -- very few of them end up on this list.

I think it's a long-shot he'd want to sign here and a long-shot we'd have the money (I know about the TV money and the surplus and blah blah ... we're Everton) ... but if he did and we did I'd have no qualms about 20m+ for a goal scorer of his level.
