Baines/Deulofeu was an attacking change which I think was boss. Seeing lukaku/mirallas and him using their pace was boss and I think we'd all like to see it again but that doesn't make up for the pienaar/stones sub.

Well, to me, you are looking too hard to complain about something just to make a point. Moyes would be roared because he did this kind of thing before....once or twice, maybe three times... :O

Whereas Bobby, until now, has earned enough trust to assume he knew what he was doing with that substitution. As people pointed out, and as you should know as a football fan, not every attacker off/defender on is a negative sub. It depends on what way he is changing the tactics. If Bobby does something crappy for a couple of seasons in a row or more then fine, complain away.

I don't think any intitiative was handed to Liverpool by this sub, in fact we continued to play well. Initiative, and the draw, was handed to Liverpool by a Distin defensive error which has nothing to do with Bobby.

People are positive with reason, and we should enjoy this period at the club. Most considered it possible we would drop a couple places whilst accomodating the changes under a new boss. We are actually looking as good, league position and FA CUP QF, as we were last year with the added bonus of a complete change of attitude. Basically changing the attitude to the opposite of the one that was getting people down under Moyes. Its hard to ask for much more at this point of his tenure.

You are dragging up a nothing point to get at people who are choosing to reserve criticism of a new manager until he has had a relatively decent spell at the club. There's nothing crazy about it, and the people doing that are not clowns.

Just like those who would not want Suarez at the club are not clowns.

I think most people are replying because they are bored and you make yourself a target, a bit like MickM86, by stating things most people would think ridiculous in a manner as if they are fact and everybody else who disagrees is a "clown".

This! Ste, your arguing about a tiny detail. People moaned about Moyes' subs as he did some shockers (wasn't there a spurs game and Distin came on when we were losing or something). Martinez has shown he's willing to attack teams and it's great, but that doesn't mean do it ALL the time. Trying to protect a lead in your first derby with 5 mins left is hardly criminal.
