Far more healthier than telling them that they live in a society which is dominated by Institutional racism. This gives off the impression to them that most people are racist at the worst and also takes personal responsibility away from them. That every problem they face is not the fault of their own, but of others.

A victim mentality complex is one of the worst personality traits you can impose on a human being. Leading to pessimism, apathy, and helplessness.

Yeah the solution is for white folks to tell black folks not to worry about the racism that they’ll encounter in all walks of life. Yeah ‘educate’ them to ignore it, as better that than admitting it’s a systemic issue and putting far more effort into educating the actual white folks about its origins, history and effects.

But yeah they’ve got a victim mentality them black folks, so we’d be far better served telling them to get over it.

I'm sure you are correct. There will be hundreds of thousands, possibly even millions of people out there in this country who are against it full stop, and no matter what anybody says their views will not change because they are basically racist in their outlook. But, in my opinion, there are many millions more who see that there is inequality in the UK and want to be able to understand it more. They were appalled by the events in America and definitely see the BLM cause as a worthy one. But will then be concerned at the lawlessness that attached itself to the various demonstrations. Is it not fair for those people to think that silence from the event organisers means that they condone the actions of the minority?
