Just had a woman in work (who I don't know, having never met) approach me and chirpily enquire: "Are we looking forwards to the derby this weekend?"

My instant reaction was to be nasty and defensive: "What is this some kinda dig or something?"

She looked shocked and swiftly dissapeared.

It's this "Slave/master" approach that they adopt that really pisses me off. If we ever break the norm and actually compete they go apeshit and have their friends on TV anbd in the media talk us down.

See what this fixture has done to me psychologically? I hate it... I hate them... and I hate Everton's cowardly approach to this fixture. I won't be satisfied until we kick the living sh1te of of them and have the media hating us rather than loving them.... that would make me happy.

It's more likely to come to an end whenever they're terrible and we're pretty good, not when they're smashing teams left right and centre and we have no defence.

We must score and first to have any chance of getting something from the game! Liverpool steam roller teams when they score early, if we can get to half time and have not conceded then we have a sniff!

I was talking to my son (8) who asked - "when the game kicks off why don't all of our 10 players run to the goal line and stand in a line for the whole game with the keeper in front? They wont score then, dad. Tell them not to move at all." Searched for an answer and thought that's as good as anything we have tried for the last few visits.
