Well, we've been linked again today.

I'm being a utilitarian here, pointing out how much happiness this move would provide the world if it happens. The player, the clubs, the fans and the footballs being kicked by Holtby in the royal blue would spontaneously burst out into renditions of Halleluja. I can't possibly think of a better way to spend 6 million pounds.

Of course i'm only setting myself up for disappointment. If Henderson cost 20m how can 6m be a plausible fee?

"No related content can be found".

Says it all.

can we put a ban on transfer rumours till we've sold 3 players?

stock up on bleach in the mean time

Probably about right that mate. Afterall, we do know (despite some belief that Moyes will see the Pienaar and Vaugan cash) that a player must be sold first before Everton buy.

Unpalatable as that is, that's the reality at Bill Kenwright's Everton 2011.

Makes me think that I could work in journalism, spout made up sh**e with no foundation, and get paid s**t loads...................................but then again I,ve got some self respect !!!

I would love Holtby for us, he would fit in perfectly, but 6-7M is a laughable amount for him. He is a German international who had a great season last year and Schalke rate him highly.

We could however get him on loan maybe and take it from there....

Do we think that a loan for him would be a possibility ??

Do we know that? Or is it speculation? The "a player must be sold first before Everton buy". Is this something you have proof of, or is it made up? Cheers.

I thought that LCAB had stated that we had a pot, albeit a small one, that was available now. The issue was do we spend it or wait till we sell in order to make it a larger amount thus meaning we can go for better quality !

If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me (y)

Please merge this thread - another predictable attempt to embarrass the board by suggesting they are capable of generating sufficient finance to buy a player.

Lewis Holtby - Footy Bunker.
Sergio Canales - Footie Online - or to Roma from Talksport.
Who is responsible for these websites? Someone is just throwing darts at the big phone book of footballers.
