Last Film You Watched

The Midnight Sky on Netflix.
Not at all innovative, really. Heavily relies on character chemistry but I didn't feel it. Quite dull, nothing special.

Just walking out of it now I actually thought it was very entertaining. People saying its the worst movie they’ve ever seen haven’t seen alot of films. I can work out why they don’t like it though, way too high a dramatic standard for this fare, the bad guy is fairlu standard, the ending also isn’t great.. its actually pretty lame, but its exactly the same as the first film.

Absolutely plot hole city, things don’t add up alot but who cares? Its a popcorn superhero flick and way better than the haters would have you believe.

The focus audience for this dross is mostly going to be kids and people looking for some escapism.

Most kids wont have seen many films so youre right there.

I'd put it at the level above Valhalla Rising...

Dreadful. I see the director was involved with 'monster' also...another poor film.

From her history she needs a win from somewhere lol

It’s this attitude that allows Hollywood to get away with churning out their conveyor belt of garbage.

Its really for kids and to pass the time isnt it?

I dont mind them now...just kills a couple of hours. However, there needs to be some kind of entertainment there...

My advice is to just avoid watching rubbish like this and let those that lap up such tat to lap up such tat.

lockdown time killer

Godfather of Harlem with Forrest Whittaker (and various Italian gangster guys you will recognise from various Classic Mafia films)

Worth a watch.

Started off well...then just became boring imo

The wife is stunning in this...old PA from billions

Its like every film has to be Citizen Kane.

I don't ever remember saying anything like that. I like all sorts of films, including a lot (I'd even say most) of the marvel films. But don't be poking me just because I've reached my capacity for the same 3-act, mcguffin-centric greenscreen romp that they churn out time and time again. You'll get sick of them at some stage too ya flamin galaaa

I didn’t like the first Wonder Woman film to be fair so doubt I’ll catch the second. Gal Gadot is amazing but frankly I find Wonder Woman as a character a bit crap. Same with Superman.
Superhero movies are all about the villains, if you can't come up with decent villains the movie will suck, Marvel managed it well, DC managed it in batman but it's hard to have a bad guy take on Superman without having them need kryptonite to weaken Superman stupid plot that's happened in as far as I can see in every superman movie.

Superman is just too powerful that I don't find him an interesting character. I quite enjoyed buff Ben Affleck going after him but that's about it. Same with the new Captain Marvel film.
