It’s this attitude that allows Hollywood to get away with churning out their conveyor belt of garbage.
It's entertainment, not high concept art. Not everything has to be of worth.

As long as stories have been told the vast bulk of entertainment been low-brow, mass appeal, easily consumed triviality. Whether it's some bloke in a toga relying on deus ex machina or a modern superhero film.

Much like arguably England's greatest playwright.

Must be the 8th time I've watched it, I'll never get bored of Sam Rockwell's acting and Martin McDonagh's scripts.

Terminator Genesys

Caught it before it dropped off Prime.

Much like Salvation it's not the absolute horror show it's made out to be.

It's better than Salvation and if you can put Terminator and T2 to one side and take it on it's own merits then it's a pretty decent, albeit completely stupid, action flick which is no more convoluted and plot-holey than 99% of time travel films.

My main criticism is that I don't understand why Skynet has built so many human shaped robots and has them performing sentry duty and the like in such a human arms and legs way. Why not give them more arms or house their important "head" bits somewhere a bit more tucked away? I understand it for the few that they're whacking skin on and sending undercover but the workaday drones or soldiers? Silly Skynet.

Roadhouse on channel 5+1 in a mo for me lad..

Once Ghost finishes. Went the Unit 4 cinema in Seacombe to watch that with a good looking bird who then went onto be a model..

Haha I actually watched that a few weeks ago on prime I think it was. Hadn't seen it for about 20 years.

Still class. Forgot Sam Elliott was in it so that was a nice surprise. And Kelly.. Forgot surname... was still gorgeous.

Great character is Sam Elliot’s Wade Garrett. Also in another of my fave movies Tombstone..

And it’s Kelly Lynch..
