He is committed as hell to his films and some of the stunts he does are breathtaking. He's a proper film star
Vampire, Eyes Wide Shut & Edge of Tomorrow. Plus the rest of his work is almost always entertaining.
Not to mention Collateral, A Few Good Men, The Firm, Rain Man, Top Gun. I think he's one of the best
I wanted to watch Highlander but she had dibs and went for Angels & Demons, thinking that anything with Tom Hanks is a banker.
Crap, but barely not crap enough to fast-forward, the ending was actually ok. 4/10.
I can appreciate both views: personally the prequel trilogies are a 5/10, 4/10 & 6/10 for me: they're bad films with some good bits, and the best thing about them is they introduced so many new elements to the Star Wars universe, which while often badly-executed, were good ideas.
Knights of the Old Republic took many of these ideas and turned it into arguably the greatest Star Wars story ever told.
Yes, strong 8/10. Tho' for me I think it's not one to rewatch.
Also a strong 8/10. I saw it for the 2nd-time recently and this time really noticed it's Morgan Freeman who's the star.
That's not to say Pitt didn't do well. He's gone downhill for a long while now, but back in the mid-to-late 90's he was killing it!
Zodiac was boooooring! Had to keep fast-fowarding and still nothing happened. 2/10.
Silence of the Lambs is another strong 8/10. Can't imagine anyone not giving that a good rating.
They're doing a new Top Gun, out next year. Haven't see quite a few other Toms: like Jack Reacher, Collateral, A Few Good Men, The Firm, MI 2 or 3 (i vaguely remember MI:2 being crap but think i only watched a few minutes so might have to give it another chance).
From what I've seen, and as I'm a sucker for lists & scores (everything 6/10+ is worth a watch in my book), based on that Tom is maybe number 1 in consistency as every single film I've seen him in is worth a watch:
MI: Rogue Nation 6/10
Edge of Tomorrow 9/10
Oblivion 6/10
MI: Ghost Protocol 7/10
War of the Worlds 7/10
Minority Report 7/10
Vanilla Sky 8/10
Magnolia 6/10
Eyes Wide Shut 9/10
MI 7/10
Vampire 9/10
4th of July 8/10 (his best acting role?)
Rain Man 8/10
Top Gun 6/10
Legend 6/10

You left out Days of Thunder and Jerry Maguire you monster!!![]()

Sisters 2015 with Tina feyis that the De Palma 70's flick? Always been interested in that, is it filth because of sisterly action? I thought it was supposed to be some kind of psycho horror, it might get a bit embarrassing watching the kind of scenes with her indoors that i definitely absolutely wouldn't watch in private, no sir.
always respected the Tom. He's got 3 flicks in my all-time top 50: Vampire, Eyes Wide Shut & Edge of Tomorrow. Plus the rest of his work is almost always entertaining.
Haven't seen The Mummy yet, tho' it was panned...any good?
haven't seen them either...also Last Samurai, Valkyre, and the cocktail & pool ones...still plenty of Tom to discover![]()
I enjoyed this actually , but the ending was awful , left unanswered questions which left me somewhat unfulfilled.![]()
