You do realize it is based on a video game, right?Rampage.
My wife likes the rock.
Ape...lizard...and wolf go crazy wild in an american state.
I knew going in it was going to be god awful...but even I was pleasantly suprised it was far far worse.

No 'Days of Thunder'??They're doing a new Top Gun, out next year. Haven't see quite a few other Toms: like Jack Reacher, Collateral, A Few Good Men, The Firm, MI 2 or 3 (i vaguely remember MI:2 being crap but think i only watched a few minutes so might have to give it another chance).
From what I've seen, and as I'm a sucker for lists & scores (everything 6/10+ is worth a watch in my book), based on that Tom is maybe number 1 in consistency as every single film I've seen him in is worth a watch:
MI: Rogue Nation 6/10
Edge of Tomorrow 9/10
Oblivion 6/10
MI: Ghost Protocol 7/10
War of the Worlds 7/10
Minority Report 7/10
Vanilla Sky 8/10
Magnolia 6/10
Eyes Wide Shut 9/10
MI 7/10
Vampire 9/10
4th of July 8/10 (his best acting role?)
Rain Man 8/10
Top Gun 6/10
Legend 6/10
Yeah, it is, but from all accounts he isn't a very good person. Great actor and I do enjoy his films, but rates poorly on the arbitrary good person/bad person scale that society uses.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's his life.
Nice one for the Hereditary tip, will check that out. Don't Look Now was ok & mildly beguiling...until the ending. Deffo elevated the film from ok to memorable.
In my top 5 of all time, a rare 10/10 in my scorebook. Stunning on all levels. I prefer the original cut, especially for those who will watch it for the first time. The Redux adds a lot of interesting content but the pacing is gone, so one for fans of the film rather than first-watchers.
While he's still fresh in your mind, I reckon Heather Ledger channeled his inner jack lemmon as the joker.Just watched The Apartment, classic old Jack Lemmon film from 1960 with Shirley MacLaine, if your into the old black and white romantic comedys highly recommended
Heriditary is one of the worst horror films ever made.
The first hour and a half is good, it then descends into a full on Hammer House of Horror farce.
People were openly laughing in the cinema it was that bad.
yikes
tho' i like bonkers endings: Cloverfield Lane, Save the green planet, etc

I've actually heard very differently. Not that it matters in terms of enjoying his films, but apparently he's very amiable and personable and gets to know all of the crew's names and such. Anyone who's into Scientology is weird imo, but that doesn't make them inherently bad. Still has some grim views on medicine and stuff though, so it depends on what angle you're looking at him

Heard the same about how nice he is.
not seen it, what's your score out of 10?
Major-league actors who are verifiably more of an arsehole than Tom Cruise:
Mark Wahlberg (by far the worst of all...numerous violent racist assaults)
Russell Crowe (throws objects at hotel staff if he doesn't get his way)
Sean Penn (disregards the will of Falklands folk by stirring up anti-colonial sentiment)
Christian Bale (screams & shouts at lowly staff for breaking his iron concentration)
