Never really been into this genre but they were all watchable yo a degree.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 - Very funny! Almost as good as the first one.

They're doing a new Top Gun, out next year. Haven't see quite a few other Toms: like Jack Reacher, Collateral, A Few Good Men, The Firm, MI 2 or 3 (i vaguely remember MI:2 being crap but think i only watched a few minutes so might have to give it another chance).

From what I've seen, and as I'm a sucker for lists & scores (everything 6/10+ is worth a watch in my book), based on that Tom is maybe number 1 in consistency as every single film I've seen him in is worth a watch:

You left out Days of Thunder and Jerry Maguire you monster!!

More importantly, he left out Tropic Thunder. Tom Cruise is amazing as Les Grossman!

Good storyline , but hit and miss in it's delivery. But overall a solid 6/10

Just did a double feature of Hereditary and Don't Look Now. Any thoughts on those? The latter is a classic and Hereditary was terrifying, one of the best horrors I've seen.

Finally got round to War for the Planet of the Apes.... Excellent finish to an excellent Trilogy...

First time I watched Apocalypse Now last night. Mind blowing how that film is nearly 40 years old and still looks as good as some of the stuff coming out today (if not better with the practical effects over CGI).

Nice one for the Hereditary tip, will check that out. Don't Look Now was ok & mildly beguiling...until the ending. Deffo elevated the film from ok to memorable.

In my top 5 of all time, a rare 10/10 in my scorebook. Stunning on all levels. I prefer the original cut, especially for those who will watch it for the first time. The Redux adds a lot of interesting content but the pacing is gone, so one for fans of the film rather than first-watchers.

seriously, tho'...i was looking forward to The Interview but it had mean infantile humour for the most part. when did films forget how to be funny?
