WARNING

There is a DVD on the shelves at Tesco under the name Troy, The Odyssey.

Do not purchase. Repeat. Do not purchase.

Anybody who made the mistake of buying King Arthur, Escalibur Rising from Tesco last year will know what I mean. If anything Troy, the Odyssey is even worse.

I am seriously considering suing Tesco's under he Trade Descriptions Act.
Hey, I quite liked King Arthur.

This sounded very promising and turned out to be a bit flat, despite a very good cast and being shot in a beautiful part of New Zealand

Post holcaust survival tale with a difference, no zombies, or violence, focussing instead on three survivors, who come together, in a remote valley, free from radiation.

Despite some great performances from all involved, nothing much happens really.

So a random guy on YouTube has made a video on The DCEU and gone out of his way to focus on every negative possible? A marvel fanboy on YouTube slagging off DC, how original! Really though @McBain your own work was far better then this....:coffee:

Meanwhile over at Marvel who have apparently never, ever had problems with their films (apart from the loads of times they have that marvel fans just never want to talk about) they are producing.....FB_IMG_1512221172604.webp

I thought it was pretty even handed, just a timeline of facts. Black Panther No 4. U.S and No.10 worldwide all time box office btw. Justice League No. 114

As we've already discussed, financial gain is no way to measure the quality of a film. Oh I'm sure it is all that matters to the good people at Disney who are no doubt very happy. However to those of us who love good films, the current marvel circus has done no favours to the comic film industry. While DC have made some almighty blunders I'm glad they've not as yet decided to pander to the bias critics and fanboys who they will never please anyway.

Oh BTW Black Panther being 4th of all time in the US and 10th worldwide? It's enough to make me weep for humanity that people can be so stupid as to make such a bang average film so successful. Whatever, I guess the sheep have spoken.
