Oh well, if it's just bodies we need maybe Kuffour can do a job.
Either way, if he wasn't rumoured to be signing I wouldn't have discovered that he had a older brother who started his playing career with a club called Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs.

I'm just off to Ghana to see if I can buy up their merchandising rights. I may be some time.

It doesn't really matter what Moyes thinks, he's proven he's [Poor language removed] in that position. Last time he played there on a regular basis we finished 11th. Speaks for itself really.

It probably does matter what Moyes thinks as he'll be choosing the team.

I prefer Neville at RB myself, but I see the problem with starting a 17year old in the middle of the park.

Aside from a disallowed goal he hardly marshalled the field did he?

If the Kuffour rumour is true it's worrying. I simply can't see any reason to sign him. 12 years at Bayern and he only managed 175 appearances. Only another 40 since 2005. And he's 31, he's a defender (which we seem to be well covered for) and he was rejected by Sunderland.
I say again, REJECTED BY SUNDERLAND..

"But the Black Cats boss has decided against making an offer for the Ghanaian centre-half as he looks to improve his back-line.
"We've had him over and had a look at him, but he's not one that we'll be taking any further," Keane told the Sunderland Echo.
"You're always looking to strengthen your squad and we'll be looking to bring two or three more in before the transfer deadline, but Sami Kuffour won't be one of them."

If Keane is going for Anton Ferdinand - who I think is [Poor language removed] tripe, btw - Kuffour must be well out of shape/off the pace/taking the piss. Not a good recommendation.

New right back = Good as he has to be better than Nev and Hibs, he just has to be.

New right back = Bad cause it gives Moyes the excuse to put his favourite boy in midfield.

But he can obviously defned and hopefully can pass the ball properly so it should improve on what we have now if he can stay injury free.

And Neville did?

Anyway, if Moyes wants to weaken the team then he should play Neville in the middle. It's already quite clear that he can't play there.

I watched Rodwell and Neville in midfield all pre-season and there's no difference, one is 31 and the other is 17 but they both offer the exact same thing.

Sigh i give up with you ppl, you keep giving me bad rep...... :@. Im clearly a bigger and better Evertonian then every single 1 of you, so quit it with the closet kopite crap. I give up, im off to kipper.

This player is total crap and hes not what we needed, any1 who thinks different is clearly misguided or American, which is the same thing. Inabit moights.

Probably the best goal he's ever scored

I don't care if he never scores a single goal whilst he plays for us. So long as he can defend and get down the wing when required for support!

We have a lot of people that goals can come from (wouldn't imagine typing that 2 seasons ago!). I'm happy for defenders to defend and support. Lescott is excluded from that. I expect him to get 15 goals this season or he's out!

I was refering to the shirt ad. Lescott is a class act and I've got high hopes of him hittin 15 myself. I just hope Jacobsen works out. It'll take some pressure off us at the back. Maybe Moyes wants him just to keep the back four on their toes.

Decent Jacobsen signing.
He was hoping for a contract with Marseille where he was on trial last week. Apparantly they thought him to be too expensive, even though he impressed.
Despite not playing anywhere, Denmark manager Morten Olsen fielded him in starting XI for DK against Spain on wednesday. Spain won 3-0, Jacobsen was substituded around the one hour mark, with Spain leading 1-0.
He did well.
Jacobsen's agent, Aabrink, confirms that the Everton interest was first showed after the international friendly. Aabrink adds that Moyes tried to sign Jacobsen from Copenhagen two years ago, but he decided on Nuremberg instead. btw. Jacobsen was injured most of last season (surprise) which is why he didn't play much.

He can fill in on left back as well, but is not better than Valente on LB.

Fun fact:
Following the draw for the WC qual. with DK drawing Portugal, Moren Olsen said that, Jacobsen was one of very few RB's in the whole world, who can deal with C.Ronaldo. Why you ask, and so did everyone reading this comment!: Jacobsen has little feet, Olsen said, meaning that he is able to cope with Ronaldos quick feet.
I'm looking forward to the battle of the little feet.

I remember him playing for FCK, he did a good job for 2005-2006 season. But why did he pick Nürnberg? What i remember, he had better offers from bigger clubs??
