Really think its a no brainer for the lad, we have Europe, play in Cup finals with a long pedigree of making Championship players into regular internationals not to mention given young players oppurtunities give youngsters opurtunities. Compare that to Spurs a wasteland for promising young careers going belly up.

I dont think there is even a choice.

London...

Hang on, has anyone considered this...

Hes a huges blades fan, and would probably do anything for them

Maybe he'll go to the club which offers the most money so that his club, benefit more from his sale.

sorry im talking [Poor language removed], carry on

Think he would get a big increase in wages anyway compared to what he is on in the Championship.

I would be worried if Villa stuck their noses into this.

Why would Spurs offer more money, when we already had an offer accepted, i seriously doubt it.

Im going to sit back and watch this one, i think he will sign for us.

* Some are claiming on interweb land that a German player was at Finch today.

I got told the same but that was last week that a German player was at finch farm with his agent. I posted it in another thread, cant remember which one though.

Read in a SU forum that Spurs have offered a larger sum for both him and the even younger RB they have.. (West I think his name is)and then they will let Naughton stay at the club on loan for a season.

With that deal SU will get cash and still keep him for another season so they can hope to advance to the PL. Pretty good deal for them, if it's true.

Sorry maybe I'm a bit dense but surely the fact that Sheffield United are talking to Spurs and not us means he is going to Spurs.

The lad can want to come to us all he wants but United will just say no and eventually he'll agree to join the Spuds cos thats still a major move for him.
