It was easy and going along nicely until those ****ers poked in. If they were so interested why did they not go in before us. The fact is we were used to break the ground to see how much was wanted.

Think Moyes will now have to look elsewhere for a RB, one thing for sure keep away from any of those Spurs rejects.

Why do some fans insist on jumping to the conclusion that this mess is somehow Everton's fault ? As far as I can see, the club hasn't put a foot wrong.

Not much wrong I agree, but perhaps it was possible to place a bid earlier in the week, with it being accepted earlier so that we could do personal terms before Sheff went off to Malta and avoiding a weekend delay when we were unable to tie it up, I think that delay was a factor in producing the situation we have now.

Either way Spurs were going to jump in once they heard we had an offer accepted.

I think its why Moyes likes to keep the transfers close to his chest and we get surprise buys most of the time because of things like this.

Its hard for us. We've got a budget, we agreed a price in that budget. If someone comes along a offers more, its more likely we aint going to up our price (its happened in the past with Ramsey and Nugent).

So unless they do whats best for the player he'll come this way. My money is on whoever pays the most.

If its gone tits up we'd better just pull out now and get someone else in.

If it was me, I'd just give Utd and Naughton the ultimatum - here's our fee, sign or dont sign - simple yes or no. If he dont then, see ya later, and look at getting someone else. No time for farting around.

Perhaps you're right, but do you think it would have been harder for them to get involved if we had swiftly done the personal terms?

I dont thing we were farting around with the personal terms. He was out of the country when Sheff Utd accepted the offer. He flew back, played 10minutes in a game, was all set for the terms then...Sheff Utd stopped everything when Spurs jumped in. We're talking 24hours max from everything being fine and dandy to Sheff Utd putting a hold on everything.

Its happend before with Manny Fernandes. I dont think any team would allow a player just solely to speak to us, they'll be allowed to speak to anyone who's willing to up the price.

But the thing is....Sheff Utd havent agree a fee from Spurs from what we know.

Here's hoping that Sheff Utd are trying squeeze as much out of Spurs untill they eventually pull out and he comes our way.

I just get the impression this is done with now to be perfectly honest and realistic. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.
Get Cana in!

The silence from Kenwrong and Moyes is deafening.

Not complaining. They cant win anyway can they. If they come out and say stuff, we are like " Why you talking? Go and sign peoples". And if they say nothing we are like "Why aint you saying nothing?".

Silly boy, probably been listening to his agent or his parents and will sign for the team that offers the highest wages. If he goes to Spurs will end up surrounded by foriegn internationals and will have no chance of becoming a regular first team player. Just like all the other mugs who have left or not signed for Everton. and will regret his decision for the rest of his life. Huge opening for a right back at Everton a position he could make his own and be involved with the Super Blues for the next ten years.
