Seemed a bit too simple and open for Everton, whenever a club or a player from the other party mentions Everton are interested, something goes wrong! Expect this to last another week.

The idea of Naughton and Defour in the Everton 11 makes me dribble.

You have been warned Naughton .....you have been warned laaaaaaad !

Shame on Sheffield utd ,I was brought up to regard my word as my bond, but nothing in football suprises me any more(n)

A fair few Spurs fans are saying they rather him come to us as they've got about 4 right backs already.

The only he and United will get is more money if he goes Spurs. Goes to Everton can most likely get 1st team place, playing the big teams, being in Europe....hopefully the cash cow aint ringing in their ear too much.

Yeh nice one, McFadden got sold for 6 million, Ruddy is still at the club and Vidarsson was brought for peanuts.

Kissock came through the academy.

I know that. I was just giving some examples of young, promising players that didn't blossom when Moyes took care of them. Not all he take care of will become stars, and from the sound of what some here write it seems like all do. I just wanted to point out that that isn't the case. (y)

If not his ear his agent will no doubt do his best to get as much cash as possible no matter what is best for the player(n)

From the sheffutd forum -

jsut have a look at the english talent that has either stagnated or gone backwards in there career while at spurs, real prospects that havent really gone on to be the world class players they should be or seem to flourish when the move away from spurs.

They're saying Spurs are offering something around £8-£10mill and a rumour of a player going their way.

Good career move lad, well done.

Why would Spurs offer more money, when we already had an offer accepted, i seriously doubt it.

Im going to sit back and watch this one, i think he will sign for us.

* Some are claiming on interweb land that a German player was at Finch today.

As some people have said. We wont really lose either way

If he goes to Spurs for the money, he's a nob and would we wasnt someone like that in our team anyway?

If he comes to us, we get a good right back and he'll probably develop more as a player here.

He's not the only good young right back out there.

Though i'll still be upset if he turns us down mind.
