I'm sorry, but this all is genuinely ridiculous.

The player has done nothing wrong whatsoever here, absolutely nothing. He's under contract, he shouldn't be given ultimatums in public when he is maintaining his silence and getting on with his job.

Koeman is trying to villify the player and, sadly, it's working. Yes, he may go, but he is acting incredibly professionally. Not one utterance from the player or his agent, no bad words, no destabilising the club, nothing. This whole situation has got out of hand due to one person only - Ronald Koeman.

I would agree with you that Barkley hasn't done anything wrong here, if he doesn't want to sign or play for Everton, that is certainly his right, but no chance I would fault Koeman for any of this, it's not like he personally took out a full page ad in the Echo and said we gave Ross an ultimatum is it??... All he has done is answer the media questions openly, which for me at least is a welcome change for a manager....
I appreciate the fact Koeman is basically telling the football world, he wants players who want to play for Everton, and I for one would fully support that position
