Doyle looks like a player who's completely lost the motivation he once had. He needs to leave Wolves, but not to a club where he'd be 4th choice.

I actually like him. He's no Jelavic but he's a decent player with a Moyes-like workrate and does score a few as well...given a choice between him and Stacqualursi, I'd go for Doyle every time.

Was a good player a few years ago. Would of loved him then, but he's done as a premier league player. Any money left over should be spent on an additional striker and/or cover for Bainsey.

If we spent no more that £2 mill on him and he would be happy to be our back up striker then I don't see why not. He could be effective if used in the same way Coleman has the last couple of games. When we're winning and the opposing defense is tired, throw him on to run at them, with or without the ball.

I wouldn't be impressed of we spent much more than £2 mill on a player like him though.
