As much as it is easy to mock Kenwright, I think SAF comes across as a massive snide in the few book extracts I've seen, and the actions of Moyes are also very disappointing, akin to breaking up with your girlfriend of 11 years, then finding out she'd been cheating on you for months (possibly years) previously, waiting on a better offer, and was never as committed to you or truly understood you as much as you thought she did.

When that incident took place Moyes had been a couple of years into the job that Kenwright had given him...plucking him out of Championship obscurity and handsomely paid for it. He repaid him by taking the piss with his mentor SAF.
I have no regard for kenwright whatsoever, but that's *classy*. Speaks volumes about the man.
Maybe he's asked the Lord for forgiveness in his little chapel he has at the end of his garden in Preston. the weird ****.

Hmmm, think you're putting 2+2 together and coming up with 5 there Dave. Care to explain (quotes would be useful) how you came to the conclusion that Moyes was shafting the club in lieu of Ferguson, regarding the transfer of Rooney?
Tbf to Ferguson he prob just ramped up the Baines fee by 2mill.
I think the actor in Bill Kenwright is never far below the surface. I think he cannot help himself in giving a performance whenever he can. Nevertheless that particular display was not for public consumption and would have remained private if not for Ferguson. On a side note I am amazed at the revelations by Ferguson where rules of privacy and professionalism are thrown out the window as he aims his arrows at friend and foe alike.
I believe that Kenwrights genuine love of Everton is a strength and a weakness.He is a real fan and wants nothing but the very best for the club , that is also his weakness as it will be difficult for any investor apart from the super wealthy to convine Kenwright they are good enough to own Everton.
I actually don't mind Kenwright , but unfortunately we will never compete while he controls the club..he simply is a pauper in terms of the money needed to fund a super-club.
However as far as I am concerned we have seen too mant clubs taken over by the wrong people and seen them go into dramatic decline very quickly. Until something substantially better comes along thenKenwright imo is the best option.
