His only fault for me so far is his right footed kicks. They are so bad, I would sooner see him hoof his right side clearances into the stand with his left than suffer the weak, misdirected Russian roulette of his wayward right.

Has a habit of conceding a tonne of goals where ever he is
It's an interesting point actually.

I like him, but at what point do you start questioning him if the goals continue to fly past him? He certainly looks the part, but if we continue to concede at this rate I suppose you'd eventually have to wonder whether he's not as blameless as you thought. Hopefully won't happen though.

Impress with his reflexes, but not entirely sure about his shot stopping skills.

Most keeper choose to push shots sideways if it's too tough to save, he just pushes it straight back into the crowded box.

Yeah, it's all very harsh...

But so was criticism of Joel for most of his time here. Just saying, if Joel had one that miss kick yesterday, he'd be getting so much stick. I'm pretty sure the Valencia goal and the Split goal would've been questioned as well.

My point here is not that it's cool to criticise Pickford, but that the double standards in criticism of certain players, is definitely not cool.

He's a great keeper. He's just had the misfortune of playing behind two of the worst defences in the known universe.

Hope he doesn't put his back out......

Some of the stick Joel got was embarrassing, im sure half those who criticised him didnt watch the games with there eyes open
