I understand why, people were complaining that no 'not for sale' notice was issued - I was one of them.

However, now that a 'not for sale' notice has been issued and reported, I'm not sure why there's still moaning occurring.

Can't we be happy that Chelsea have been told he's not for sale?

It's amusing how expressing an opinion is considered as 'moaning' by a moderator, in support of someone else who has told me to 'get a life.' All I did was express an opinion lads. I'm not actually selling John Stones to Chelsea. You can both breath again.

My point was that I think Bobby is posturing to maximise any potential sale. He was making it very clear that they'll have to pay mega money for him, and rightly so. He hyped him up, said he is not for sale, then turned around and said ultimately he doesn't know what will happen. It's all rhetoric.

This is win-win for us, and Bobby knows it.

Not sure illegal is exactly the right phrase but he has broken rules and like all arrogant narcissistic types (him and Mourinho both in this category) he won't care what anyone thinks. Hard to know what will stop them but they see themselves as winners who get whatever they want and right now they will be getting angry that this isn't happening. I think the stronger the words we use against them the better. I would happily see Martinez suggesting the media is being paid off. I would throw a few insinuations about dodgy betting activity with skybet etc.. Sadly I think he has a lot more class than me.

i don't think what we say matters. we can say "he's not for sale" all we like, but if they offered £100m tomorrow we HAVE to sell imo. we could massively improve with something like that.

who else should he talk to. he could send an official complaint but that would find its way into the media anyway. Don't think chatting openly about being unhappy about a club's behaviour is linked to behaving in a way that has been outlawed just because of where it happens. Like claiming robbing a bank and calling the police are the same thing because they both happened in a bank

That would assume that whats being said to appease us the fans in the press is the truth.

I mean all this "We dont have to sell" crap is kinda offset by the 4.5m spend we are currently sitting on.
