Bunch of hypocrites you lot are

http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation....-everton-hypocrites-john-stones-romelu-lukaku

I remember you lot wetting your knickers when Roberto and some of the players were mouthing off about Lukaku.

Don't you think that could have destabilize Chelsea too, so when you are doing it to others its acceptable but when its done to you its the big bad money clubs picking on poor old Everton.

We're hypocrites!
We're hypocrites!
We're hypocrites!

And that's the way we like it!
We like it!
We like it!

Not a great song, but much better than that awful stuff you and your mates are into.
Millwall with a winning lottery ticket. That's all you are and all you'll ever be.

Surprised at people buying the glossy message hook line and sinker. What I gather from that is Martinez is maximising the price of any possible sale.

He's embellished Stones' potential as possibly the best ever English centre half. Blue-tinted specs aside, that's a big claim. Then goes on about our strong financial position. In the next breath he's said he's not stupid enough to think we can hang on to him.

Sounds to me like he's making a sale.
Think you need to get a life fella.
What part of "Not for sale dont you understand"
Stop looking for summit that aint there.
I understand why, people were complaining that no 'not for sale' notice was issued - I was one of them.

However, now that a 'not for sale' notice has been issued and reported, I'm not sure why there's still moaning occurring.

Can't we be happy that Chelsea have been told he's not for sale?

Oh no, them Chelsea lot are upset by little old Everton fans, bless them.

I was never really in for all the Chelsea hate from United & Liverpool fans as always had that down as bitterness & jealousy....think I am with them now. They are not a nice bunch at all.

Their inability to differentiate between the Lukaku & Stones situations, is quite sad really.

Quite right "not for sale " I for one am delighted Bobby came out with this...took some bloody time like.

Tbh Martinez has been accused himself of using the media to unsettle a player, not in the Lukaku case as Chelsea were clearly happy to discuss a deal being done for a player who had played more for us than for them, but when he was at Wigan.

However don't think it is something Roberto had done before or since whilst it isn't the first time Mourinho has tried the technique as the pursuit of Rooney and Gerrard show in addition to the fine over Ashley Cole's transfer from Arsenal.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has accused Wigan manager Roberto Martinez of trying to unsettle Eagles winger Wilfried Zaha. The Latics were reported to have failed with a £3million bid for the 19-year-old in the summer but Martinez remains an admirer of the youngster, saying earlier this week he has "tremendous potential". However, the manager also said he doubted whether the winger would be a realistic option for Wigan in terms of value for money. Parish was less than impressed with the comments from the Spanish boss, who bought Victor Moses from the Eagles for £2.5m two years ago before selling him to Chelsea for £9m in August.

The Palace chief said on Twitter: "Some fascinating quotes from a manager about our player. "So having nicked Victor due to administration and then selling for £9m (where I don't recall them being worried about Chelsea getting value for money), Roberto would like it ever so much if we would roll over. "In the meantime I guess he'll just try to unsettle our player using the papers. "We didn't reveal any details of their bid we prefer to do these things privately and politely, different rules I guess for 'big' clubs."

To be fair, I think that saying Terry's comments were "illegal" is a bit much. I don't think we've handled this badly, but Martinez should have been a little cooler on it. He's played this game in the past with Zaha, so, his indignation should be turned a touch.

That said, the article that Jack B linked to was full of guff. Stones is not for sale, or as close to that as you get, yet the writer basically reacts to the idea of Martinez standing his ground as an insult. Everything about that and the comment section is just entitled and sneering.

Pabbers....Mourinho, for all his characteristic mouthing in recent weeks, has yet to plumb the depths that Moyes did with his pursuit of Fellani and Baines.

That was really below the belt, insulting stuff and the £28 million opening bid was proper derisory.

You are right in saying Chelsea are not a nice bunch.......but they are no worse than that other bunch up the East Lancs when they come a calling.

And as for the RS......well......;)

I think Martinez has overreacted somewhat, i don't think Chelsea have done anything countless other clubs haven't done before... it just annoys us because we're on the receiving end.

Not sure illegal is exactly the right phrase but he has broken rules and like all arrogant narcissistic types (him and Mourinho both in this category) he won't care what anyone thinks. Hard to know what will stop them but they see themselves as winners who get whatever they want and right now they will be getting angry that this isn't happening. I think the stronger the words we use against them the better. I would happily see Martinez suggesting the media is being paid off. I would throw a few insinuations about dodgy betting activity with skybet etc.. Sadly I think he has a lot more class than me.

Obviously we're not all totally naive, things can change in football however the fact is, it's been stated he's not for sale. Stones also hasn't motioned for a move.

We can really criticise those specific details in my opinion. It's what we all hoped for.
