I think quite a few players will benefit from Moyes leaving, every manager has his favourites but the likes of Cahill, Saha, Heitinga, Neville and (for a few months of the year) Osman hogging playing time off some highly promising youngsters/squad members can grate on anyone.

He needs experience but it's the old adage, how do you get experience? By playing games.

Not up for loaning him out to some jarg struggling League 1 team either, play him or loan him to f*cking Hull or something i.e Cleverley , Sturridge & Wilshere.

...fair bit off the wages bill with Moyes, Neville, Mucha and possibly Heitinga going. I don't think anybody would stand in Johnny's way but the only issue might be the interest from Fenerbache. They really dragged their feet over Yobo and wouldn't want us to be drawn into a similar situation.

It was written in the stars mate, he's a one on/one off kinda guy.

2009/10: First season, settling in period but quickly became a fans favourite.
2010/11: Post World Cup, played like a [Poor language removed] and had the attitude to boot.
2011/12: Wins player of the year award.
2012/13: Normal order resumes, any player with pace, strength, a head, torso and two feet becomes his kryptonite.

Similar to Yobo, I think Heitinga's wages will make it difficult for Everton to get a decent price.

Then again, Martinez may give him a new Baresi role.

He's worth 6.2 million which is more than we paid for him, I could see him going back to ajax or another dutch club.

If we'd got rid last year he was worth 8 million.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. He just won player of the season, we'd all have fumed if he was sold
