If TalkSport have actually been talking sense (very unlikely) about us being in pole position to sign this Dragovic bloke from Basel, I would let him go. We then have Duffy who I would like to see play this year, start easing him in for Distin who surely doesn't have much left in the tank now.

There is a reason, apparently he was due to come to Everton back in Jan but the deal fell through (A Sunderland fan with connections told me this last week after the Chelsea game, so take it with a pinch of salt)
