i clicked on the city official website 'jo joins on loan' page last night and got a 'page not found' message. there was nothing on the everton website. i thought it was odd.

this morning i wake up to lots of stories saying city have changed their story about joining us on loan.

hmmm... i hope this does not fall through.

Just saw on FSC that Jo has joined Everton on a loan. It was the 2 a.m. replay, and it was about 8 minutes in.

Here is a link to a story on their Web site. It's a story from the early morning ... the TV spot was more up to date said that the deal was done.
Jo to wrap up Toffees loan switch

Here is the transcript from the FSR story on Jo's signing ... got it from the 3 a.m. replay. I'm going to bed after this, lol.

"The fans have grown to love him, and he has certainly impressed at Goodison Park. Brazialian striker Jo scored 5 goals in 12 appearances after coming on loan from Manchester City in January.

"Manager David Moyes would have like to sign the striker permanently, but admits the club just can't afford him. Instead, Everton has secured the 22-year-old for an additional season-long loan.

"City signed Jo from CSKA Moscow last summer for $29 million US, but he failed to produce, scoring only once in 9 games before joining Everton."

I think we will get him back, but it hasn't been confirmed yet.

I just hope it isn't a springboard to open negotiatons with Lescott.

Some forums making a big deal about the retraction of that article on City's OS. I think they just jumped the gun slightly and we're ironing out buyout clauses etc, we've put up Round complimenting Jo on the OS now too.(y)

According to someone on NSNO, the rumour now is that we are signing Jo permanently with Lescott going the other way.

The fee we receive is £14m.

Rumour has been going forever that Neb. Fairly obvious that any correspondence with City will bring up Lescotts name.

The delay in the Jo deal only adds to it.

Jo is prominantly shown on the OS website in the Scotland training videos & pics. His coming has to be near certaintly you would think. Loan or make weight? I guess both are possible. I still lean heavily toward loan being the result.
