Yeah I thought our best defensive headers from corners for the first hour were from Branth and Beto, they’re the only ones who don’t grapple, just outjump the opposition. Both going off thru injury was massive, especially when the subs were so poor and we no longer had any threat in attack.

This...Barry is rubbish and Keane is just not Branthwaite. If both were on the pitch till the end no way they win.

Sadly, I think we will just see Keane play, JOB stay at rb and is not sign a cb, so Keane will also get another contract, which is filling me with dread.

Keane has been solid this season, but you dont want to see him coming on cold for the last stage of the game. I'd maybe have moved Jake over to CB and brought a fullback on. Hopefully its not as bad as it looked for Jarrad, and he makes a good recovery.

Yes it's very obvious the back line for the rest of the season is Mykolenko, Keane, Tarkowski and O'Brien. In fairness, it's proven itself this season for 6 months as being more than capable of stifling most teams, yet if we went into next season with that I'd be absolutely devastated.

Tarkowski should not be an automatic starter any more.

Keane should be a bench option for one final season.

O'Brien is playing out of position and offers nothing offensively 90% of the time.

Mykolenko, despite being a natural full back, is arguably worse than O'Brien at supporting the guy playing ahead of him.

It's a backline to avoid relegation.

Clearly I understand this isn't it his fault at all, but it's typical of our luck.

It's obviously a concern that he's suffering recurring injuries on the same muscle chain, but it's daft writing him off at this stage. He could have a similar type of career to John Stones who's an elite defender who unfortunately misses lots of football due to regular injuries.
