Seems he is cursed with this Injury. No op and amount of rehab it seems will be good enough
I think this is more about the lad's career possibly being under threat than it is about our luck. My heart goes out to him. Regardless of how minted he is, having a lifetime dream career suddenly put in doubt at 23 years old will be utterly devastating, especially after working his way up to become one of the best CB's in the Premier League. At least he got a nice new 5 year contract on massively inflated wages before he broke himself for good.
Clearly I understand this isn't it his fault at all, but it's typical of our luck.
If Everton took that attitude Peter Reid would have never worn the shirt. He's finished sadly.
Rather he had broken his leg than suffered a continuation of the hamstring he just had surgery on. Branthwaite will be the new Woodgate. If Everton took that attitude Peter Reid would have never worn the shirt.
Suffered 2 broken legs and s serious knee injury, when with Bolton.
Far too early to write the lad off.
He’s literally our best player, he’s a huge miss regardless of how we did without him.Another sicknote on the books, no big miss as we were around 6/7th til he came back. Will never fulfill the potential he had, and everyone can see now why no big teams or England are interested in him.
It's not kneejerk, he has literally pulled his hamstring that he had surgery on, what reaction are you expecting lmao.God there are some knee jerk people in here. We don’t even know the results of his scan yet, and due to his age, any talk about career ending talk is just nonsense. People can come back from serious injuries, it might just take a longer period of time.
I like the guy but I never forgot Moyes putting Dan Gosling back on with torn knee ligaments to protect 0-0 in a mid table nothing match at Wolves. It was incredible ignorance and, even then, absolute dinosaur behaviour.Absolute negligence if true
It’s him, Pickford, and Ndiaye that are a class above. Jimmy G is great but those 3 have something else. It’s a shame Branth can’t stay fit. He’s literally our best player, he’s a huge miss regardless of how we did without him.
if he was on the pitch until the final whistle we dont lose that game yesterday, as he was marking VD at corners and he never got a sniff out of Branthwaite.Another sicknote on the books, no big miss as we were around 6/7th til he came back. Will never fulfill the potential he had, and everyone can see now why no big teams or England are interested in him.
