January Transfer Window 2026

No way should we be paying premiums for young English players

You get no value for money and they very often aren't as good as players in other leagues. This is a terrible idea for a transfer policy.

We are in no position to be overpaying for young players who aren't good enough to make the team
Agree is about getting them in early with good scouting like branthwaite

We don't ALL want Moyes gone in the summer.
Genuinely have yet to see a single poster on here say with their chest that they want to see Moyes see out the full duration of his contract.

Made a thread last week for the purpose of assessing next manager options in summer. Lots of replies, none saying that we stick with Moyes in summer.

If people are out there with that opinion then fair enough, I've just not really seen it.

Personally, I can't see TFG having a lot of patience with Dithering Davey.

Best develop Dibling quicker lads.

You do make me laugh m8

Didn't he just get a new city contract aswell..

Yes Rico Lewis is a skilled player regardless of club affiliation, you know city don't have to play him right? They could bring in a replacement instantaneously if they felt he wasn't up to the standard. Obviously pep rates him

Can you explain his England caps?

I find it hard to believe that such a bad player would be able to dupe Pep and the German fella.

Do you really think you are the only 1 who can see he has no talent or could it be that you are wrong and these Managers with vast experience in the game are right?

Do you realise the level of ego it takes to say "Pep is wrong and I am right"?

Really stupid comment.
Rico Lewis: not a PL standard footballer

Rico Lewis: not a PL standard footballer
Have to say, you're obviously taking a bit of a beating over this but I was having a similar conversation with a friend the other week.

Remember watching him when he first came through there and thinking he looked amazing, and probably could fill in anywhere on the pitch as an outfield player other than as a cb or striker.

Fast forward to this season and he's looking a bit Tom Davies-esque. Can't really tell what it is he excels at exactly.

With all that said though, not PL standard is crazy hyperbole.

They aren't even top 1 and 2 in this league?

Beto is 8th, Barry is 20th. In the prem. Likes of Mateta, Gyokeres, Gordon, Igor Jesus are all ahead of them in underperforming expected goals. Difference is they largely get good supply.
That cannot be, I saw the graphic blasted on here and by the PL for weeks. Would be really odd for them to put that out so prominently

Most posters on here are complete cranks.
