January Transfer Window 2026

A statue not a football player. The Eiffel tower is more mobile
Not sure now, but a couple of weeks ago he’d had more shots than anyone in the Championship, and more goals per minute than anyone in the championship. Thats fantastic if that’s what your squad/bench striker can achieve. Good on him.

We don’t half make it look difficult. 19- year old Kroupi at Bournmouth. 7 goals in 16 appearances. Apparently paid £10-12m for him from Ligue 2. Could sell him tomorrow for double what they paid after half a season.

I think after all the data has been poured over, Angus has given the nod, Moyes has reluctantly agreed, TFG should employ a random person to just watch any prospective striker purchase for 4 minutes to see if they can run like a vaguely sporty person, without falling over or limbs flapping everywhere.

The got Kroupi cheap as it was as a tie up with Lorient who have the same owners
West ham bid about 3 times that amount and were turned down

Guaranteed to get injured first game and run out his contract on the treatment table.
The injury issue would be a big problem , other than that it would be worth looking at, he is a good centre forward and on a short term contract he would be better than Beto who has been surprisingly poor this season and that is even without sky high expectations in the first place.
