I’ll not be delighted if we sign Wilson but he was on an effective pay as you play deal (£6basic /£54k bonus made up from playing & scoring) . If we signed him On a similar deal to the summer it wouldn’t feel like an appalling bit of business to provide cover .
Most clubs seem to have young strikers close to first team level , we’ve got 18 year old Graham who’s still away away , so in the event we signed Wilson I could see the justification for it .
The fella scored 4 in 17 for a poor West Ham side and I think mostly off the bench which would have made him our top scorer .
And even on THAT deal a club desperately trying anything to avoid relegation are getting rid.

Didn’t the gvt get rid of zero hours contracts apart from the leisure/entertainment sector? Some might argue on here whether Everton falls within that bracket or not.
