Jagielka fears Fellaini will be sold if we receive a £20m+ offer

No technique? Have you not seen how he brings the ball down on his chest, or his pirouettes? I don't know if you're just talking about his shooting technique, which admittedly isn't the best, but his overall technique is brilliant.

And he isn't marginally better than Straq at shooting. Did you not see his volley against Man U?

Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United have all shown an interest in the past, some are still monitoring him. That is all you need to know to throw what you're saying straight out of the window.

his technique for bringing the ball down, passing, using his strength, breaking up play i.e. all the stuff needed to play as a DM is excellent.
the problem for us is theres no premium for a good DM, so moyes is trying to make him into a player his is not, to hike up his value,

how do you know that they are tracking him, because you read it it the daily mail, theres has been very little in the tabloids for this very reason, as even the tabliods know that moyes wont let him go on the cheap, and none of the bigger teams will ever pay that sort of money for fellaini.

fellani has admitted in the past he wants Cl football so whats the problem why arent united chelsea madrid queuing up for his signature, bid 26m and get him whats the problem????

I just supported you cos I sensed you were about to be slaughtered, however, this comment about Rodwell makes me regret it!

Rodwell is no way a bloody Bergkamp either, so I really don't get why you just said that he will shine behind the striker.

If we're going to stick with 3 in central midfield, I don't see why we have to just push one of the midfielders (usually Cahill, sometimes Fellaini) behind the striker. We should be playing more fluid intelligent football where any of the three midfielders can take up attacking positions during a game, or make runs forward. Whether Barkley, Gibson, Fellaini, Rodwell or even Pienaar (who I love to see in a central 3).

Moyes' habit of just telling Fellaini to get involved further up the field in some random way is highly annoying.

the point was he has more potential the fellaini to be played at that position

No technique??

LOL

a couple of pirouettes ?????
phil neville has done a couple of step overs in his time are you going to say he has creativity

LOL

Some players look ace on TV highlights, others you need to see in the flesh to really appreciate them. Fellaini falls into the latter which is why some folks can't see why we're so excited about him. He's by no means the finished article but he's hugely important to us and would be very difficult to replace.

To be fair to Jags, he's just being honest. A bid much above 20 million would ( sadly ) probably see him gone.

potential, the man struggles to get a shot away, has absolutely no technique, you can tell early on whether someone is going to make it, and fellaini certainly isnt in that category,
his shooting capability is MARGINALLY better then the way starqulursi used to strike a ball

dont worry about losing fellaini no one will come near him for that sort of money

fellaini's the best player in his position in the premier league. can you think of anyone better? his strengths outweights his weaknesses.

Its like someone just went head first into a pool full of glue in here.

I gave up when someone said Lampard was a box to box midfielder tbh.

Im backing the Belgian Yaya myself.

Free the Fro.

So he does have good technique then? Thought so.

The only thing he lacks is shooting ability. Personally I think he would be best deployed as a box to box midfielder, as I said in my earlier post he has the potential to be one of the best in the world. You've basically taken what I've said and twisted it to suit your argument. I never said he had the potential to be one of the best attacking mids in the world.

I'm not going to try and prove to you that he's been courted by those big clubs, how can you prove any interest really unless you speak to the manager or chairman yourself, or if they publicly come out and broadcast it, which rarely happens.

Lampard over the years has been one of the hardest-working central midfielders around, hence Chelsea's success. In his prime he was indeed a box to box midfielder.

Terms like box to box are just stupid anyway.

pretty much the one thing you need to play behind the striker then

imagine young, gerrard van der vaart yaya toure if they couldn't shoot they would be half the player, yet fellaini is valued at 26m because he plays for us.

Not in a million years mate, bar set pieces you would never find him Souuthf of Makelele or Mikel or Essien - in fact they purposely went out and signed those players so Franky do you remember me, could get his usual 15 goal a season and shadow Drogba.

TBH i know he ran about a lot - back in the day, but that was more to do with getting in positions and space going forward, i would hardly call him hard working combative midfielder, in fact i think midfielder is a bit of a stretch. Not a bad player like, but he was what he was.

'Seriously, how is Ronaldo worth £80m ? Gary Cahill is a much better defender and he only cost £10m' - You.

WTF are you on about ?

He's worth £26m because he's the best defensive midfielder in the league, why the f*** do you keep comparing him to attacking midfielders ?

He just reads the bits he wants to read and ignores the rest.

Utterly bizarre.

Disagree entirely. Gerrard in the past has scored a lot of goals in a season but it doesn't mean he was not box to box. In fact, a lot of England fans said Gerrard and Lampard were too similar to play together.

Lampard was certainly more of a box to box midfielder than most other goalscoring midfielders (Scholes for example) in his prime. He was sooooo hard-working and still is.
