Jagielka fears Fellaini will be sold if we receive a £20m+ offer

He's only saying what we all know - we're a selling club to at least 6 clubs - the idea of building under this regime is ludicrous.

Fellaini has the ability and potential to be one of the best Defensive Mid/Box to Box players in the world. He's not too far off now.

There, I said it.

potential, the man struggles to get a shot away, has absolutely no technique, you can tell early on whether someone is going to make it, and fellaini certainly isnt in that category,
his shooting capability is MARGINALLY better then the way starqulursi used to strike a ball

dont worry about losing fellaini no one will come near him for that sort of money

Just like how Pienaar will go to QPR.

You got sunstroke lad?

You got sunstroke lad?

not really people banging on about how well he plays for belgium in that position, apart from a few scuffed shots against england he offered nothing in that position. same thing he offers when we play him there.
Moyes sticks him upfront when he is desperate, the lad cant even shoot properly ffs, any scout teams send will be able to see this from the first minute.

the player that will shine behind the striker will be rodwell, he can shoot, has pace and strength and is young enough to be nurtured in that role.

we have all seen shades of everything needed to play behind the striker over the last few seasons, if he keep fit he will do well there not fellaini

I agree with Dixie. However I have grown to love Fellaini. If he was a dribbler/shooter he'd truly be one of the best midfielders around. No-one's perfect.

It's good if Fellaini has a hefty price tag in transfer speculation, the higher the better, but unless we push top 5 and get noticed, no-one's going to bid £25m for him, and Dixie is spot on.

I disagreed with Moyes for spending so much on him. If it was £6m or £8m or £10m even I'd understand it. £15m for a club in our position should only have been spent on an Aguero type (don't mean this literally), or an exciting goalscoring winger.

But I do love Fellaini and don't doubt under a better setup/team and manager he would look like a class act, dominating the central midfield area.

I think he was a passenger in the England vs Belgium game, floating around trying to contribute but largely just hanging around the box hoping for a perfect cross. No doubt he can prove a nuisance at times but I don't think he's the world-class player that some people on here claim he is. But he is getting better.

FELLAINI MUST STAY!

Maybe other teams have noticed his talent, playing in DM?

Why are you judging him on the AM part of his game?

Im not sure why im even discussing this with you, I doubt you even rate Fellaini, which makes your eyesight null and void.

No technique? Have you not seen how he brings the ball down on his chest, or his pirouettes? I don't know if you're just talking about his shooting technique, which admittedly isn't the best, but his overall technique is brilliant.

And he isn't marginally better than Straq at shooting. Did you not see his volley against Man U?

Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United have all shown an interest in the past, some are still monitoring him. That is all you need to know to throw what you're saying straight out of the window.

No technique??

I just supported you cos I sensed you were about to be slaughtered, however, this comment about Rodwell makes me regret it!

Rodwell is no way a bloody Bergkamp either, so I really don't get why you just said that he will shine behind the striker.

If we're going to stick with 3 in central midfield, I don't see why we have to just push one of the midfielders (usually Cahill, sometimes Fellaini) behind the striker. We should be playing more fluid intelligent football where any of the three midfielders can take up attacking positions during a game, or make runs forward. Whether Barkley, Gibson, Fellaini, Rodwell or even Pienaar (who I love to see in a central 3).

Moyes' habit of just telling Fellaini to get involved further up the field in some random way is highly annoying.

He signed a 5 year deal last year didn't he? In the marker nowadays he is easily a minimum 20 million but the fact he has so long left on his contract means they should add another 10 mil to that! But there's no point slating jags over this, he's honest about it
