Has this not happened before ? This is Iran backed Hamas wilfully attacking Israel. Thousands of rockets, major incursions, slaughter of innocents. Unfortunately we know what will happen next, the poor Palestinians just living their lives will now be subjected to massive retaliation. Meanwhile the swine in Iran who initiated this, in order to spike any Israeli/Saudi deal will just sit back and watch…thousands will now die because of these people…..

Even in our press, there has been a tide of stories about Jewish settlers in Jerusalem behaving appallingly - indeed last week Bibi himself (as well as the Chief Rabbi and a host of other ministers) had to publicly state that spitting on or at Christian pilgrims, nuns, priests and churches was not allowed. Mobs of settlers repeatedly invaded al-Aqsa over the past week as well, whilst the security forces prevented any but the elderly Muslims attending one of the holiest sites in Islam.

Do you really feel this provides justification for releasing thousands (between 2,500 and 5,000) of dumb missiles into Israel, the incursions and taking of Israeli hostages and the indiscriminate slaughter, house by house of innocents. Iran has always provided Hamas both with money and arms and this has its fingerprints all over it. But I’m sure we will find out over the next few days after even more innocents on both sides have died, and for what ?….

Israeli PR machine has gone into pure overdrive. What it has done is convince everyone that this akin to Russia in Ukraine.

The world will be less condemn of them when they inevitably retaliate.

Absolutely tragic. Not a single time did the headlines shout about innocent Palestinians dying or being forcibly moved, that’s the frustration.

Do you really feel this provides justification for releasing thousands (between 2,500 and 5,000) of dumb missiles into Israel, the incursions and taking of Israeli hostages and the indiscriminate slaughter, house by house of innocents. Iran has always provided Hamas both with money and arms and this has its fingerprints all over it. But I’m sure we will find out over the next few days after even more innocents on both sides have died, and for what ?….

However I defy anyone to look at whats been happening in the occupied territories over the past thirty years and be surprised this has happened. Look at whats happened to Daoud Nassar down the years - an exemplary man, a Christian, someone whose devoted himself to establishing peace and a farmer with a clear and documented rights to his land stretching back a hundred years.

The settlers nearby have repeatedly attacked him and the IDF demolished his orchards. For what?
