They’ve been practising for months now using Greece as the target (which is the same distance as Iran from Israel’s borders).

The problem they face is a lack is air-air refuelling capabilities. Would the US help them out here?

Biden is saying they won't participate in offensive operations, so that's a 'no'.

Listening to these Israeli commentators on various news channels is like banging your head against a brick wall. Utter kopites the lot of them. Always the victims never their fault. One is saying just now on BBC news they didn't attack the consulate building in Damascus..they attacked the building next to the consulate they honestly think they are teflon

With regards to the final paragraph of your post, while Nethanyahu is very much a problem.

Saying that he has done more than anyone else on either side to thwart peace is slightly hyperbolic imo.

Is an Israeli leader in your book supposed to give Hamas carte blanche to do whatever the hell they like? Should such a person have allowed October 7th go unanswered?

Yeah, the Iranians gave everybody two weeks notice of a “ surprise attack “ and basically sent the reserve team.
If the Israelis had any sense they’d let things ride. However that’s not the Israeli plan so expect further serious upping of the ante.

i think Israel probably wanted Iran to attack a lot more, to get sympathy, but iran just did the minimum to save face. It was obvious the drones were going to get shot down

They are not good people and shouldn't get a free pass just because of all the bad things Israel do

Do Hamas get a free pass though ?

I’m looking at media coverage and certainly does not seem so as it should be, but what bothers me is that Hamas get hammered (rightly so) but the Israelis get a free pass for things they do and it’s not just illegal settlements

It’s things like settler violence against Palestinians, Palestinian children killed or held in prisons without trial.

Extra judicial killings by the IDF against anyone who looks like an Arab, weekly raids into Palestinian villages

Land theft and racism and so on.

But this new one is particularly disturbing is that that they bomb another country consulate killing people and the west condemning the bombed country and defend Israel after what it did including my tax funded RAF.

Now I have no love the Iranian government but they have a right to retaliate I would if I were them.

Yeah and most of the drones were probably made for about £100 in somebodies garage whilst we are using highly sophisticated air to air missiles to shoot them down costing £10,000’s to produce. They should have given the pilots a revolver instead.

How do you react? I mean, nothing else has worked. The world stands by watching Israel committing human rights violations, forced displacements, land thefts, forced evictions, illegal detentions and torture including of children, systematic apartheid and genocide against Palestine and Palestinian people since 1948 - what are the Palestinians meant to do? Israel do not want to negotiate, not for one minute. Palestine has zero legal recourse against the daily international crimes carried out by their occupiers. Israel are the terrorists here, Hamas, as warped as they may be, are the freedom fighters and literally exist because of Israel
