Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

Shameful stuff. Tories and the SNP put forward motions ultimately aimed at splitting Labour, the Speaker says jog on to that, Tories throw their toys out of the pram and the SNP take their ball and go home.

And the impact that these motions will have on Israel to make them stop?

Playing politics with children and women's lives. The absolute state of them.

I'm no fan of the SNP, but it was their opposition day, so it was actually Labour and the Tories playing games with amendments.

Nah. The SNP know exactly what they were doing. A united and strong Labour Party is a disaster for the SNP, the SNP were trying to sow divisions within their main opposition. Not that it will make any real difference but it’s utterly pathetic to try and play these games on something so tragic.

I'm not suggesting it isn't political (what vote isn't?!), but your premise is flawed - Labour has had their own opposition days and could have brought their own vote on a ceasefire but have chosen not to - the SNP have chosen to on their day and Labour, not the SNP, have tabled an amendment.

And this is coming from somebody who thinks the SNP should be collectively fired out of a big cannon, preferably towards the moon.

Absolutely this.

Don't want this to be a political issue? Don't put a three line whip on it then, and allow people to vote with their consciences and without fear of punishment from the whips.

Starmer's intervention was around the security of Labour MP's when he met Hoyle. I don't believe Starmer is the kind of politician to threaten a speaker, it's not good politics. Put simply Starmer is a lot more adept at Politics than the Tories and SNP.

This is labour and the bent speakers doing.
More evidence starmer is as big a danger as the tories

Ed Davey asked the SNP to amend their motion to include text relating to a peace process but the SNP refused.

It has since transpired this evening that the Tories and the SNP have teamed up. Utterly disgusting.
