SNP calling for "ceasefire" was always about trying to weaken Labour. The hypocrisy spouted is astounding. What has been achieved in calling for ceasefire is a good thing no matter what Party name is on it. It got nodded through because Tories would have not supported in vote. The only angry people are those who want anything but Labour Government.
Parliament has now agreed on ceasefire in Gaza is good.
Now lets see how long it takes to implement ceasefire. As Benjamin Netanyahu is still intent on attacking Rafah no matter the return of hostages

The SNP opted not to phrase the motion calling for a ceasefire on both sides, intentionally using language that couldn't garner sensible votes. Their objective was to prompt a split within Labour, rather than seeking a parliamentary ceasefire vote. Simply put, the SNP's focus wasn't on achieving a ceasefire; Gaza was not part of their envisioned outcomes and Ian Blackford pretty much admits that the SNP fudged it up last night:
