The Israeli ambassador to Ireland is right on the same message.

Do not allow any criticism of Israel, however mild, to pass without branding the critic as a nazi, anti Semite supporter of the Shoah.

God help those brave 'not in my name' faithful Jews who are protesting against these war crimes.

Netanyahu has some very dangerous friends.

The message is if you are not already supplying arms to Israel, then just shut the hell up.

Apparently Ireland is the most hated European country in Israel because our political parties across the spectrum have united in condemnation.

I suppose he is a closet Nazi too and his life long commitment to human rights was just a cover.

The 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide defines Genocide in its Article II as any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

-Killing members of the group.

-Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;

- Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.

- Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group.

- Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

To condemn Netanyahu's regime for its genocide of Palestinians is not anti-Semitism, it is moral outrage which is shared by many brave Jews around the world.

Don't let the bullying of justified criticism silence any of us.

Sadly, too many western governments and powerful interests stand to lose too much blood-stained profits if the IDF were to cease its aggression.

Too many western politicians stand to lose their sordid blood -stained donations as 'friends' of Netanyahu's criminal regime and are afraid to speak out.

I pray for this madness to end.

The support for Israel comes from Western politicians, not the populace. This is a consequence of where Israeli influence operations have been focused (on politicians and associated networks) and it will come back to haunt all of them - it is creating an ever deeper gap between rulers and ruled.

And the lobby groups. I was asked why the US was so supportive of Israel, and to answer it was - for different people, there are different reasons.

The Republican (and some Democrat) Christian evangelicals have no particular love for Israel or Jews, but they are the balance against their crazy end of day views.

Israel counteracts their perceived threat from the east and certain religions. There are many other reasons, but all this division means simply - who can stop Israel?
