Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

More and more what happened on October 7th. are coming out. The majority were serving military, it seems. Then there are those under 40 who are reservists.

Some in the IDF were not very disciplined. People were caught in the crossfire at certain kibbutz and houses were hit with tank shells.

Is the Irish Israeli Ambassador going to invite Irish politicians to her embassy to view this eveidence, and to give an explanation???

I would love to hear her side of this

Seen all your posts honestly what would be your solution
There isn’t one tbh. Idrsel will never give Palestinian lands and settlements back so, either Palestine settle for the scraps or this just continues. There is the death toll also. They cannot just forgive the way they have been treated. This is all on Israel, they hold the power to peace but you’re dreaming if you think they’ll give it. As soon as Palestine are granted international recognition they then have the ability to persue Israeli crimes through international courts. Do you think Bibi wants that?

Part of the solution has to be the diminishing of Jewish influence in Western governments etc. They have far too much power and sway and it distorts their importance.
And what do you think that will lead to for the 7 million Jews that live in Isreal? The exact same thing that they are going in Gaza right now.

So what you are saying is the Israeli Government cannot afford to abide by “normal” International law?

In London today for a family do. My brothers were worrying about the presence of Yaxley and his cretins. I said they'd do bugger all except fight each other once the gak and Stella ran out. Must say, it's happened sooner than I expected. Must be the cost of living crisis.

Apparently these sub-human thugs attacked police inside the cenotaph inclusion zone where the pro Palestinian marchers are banned…….this is before the Palestinian March even started.

I bet they go and now try and attack the main March

Can't Isreal just grant immunity to those who committed these crimes... isn't that how it's done?

Which is unlikely to happen because Palestinians will, and quite justifiably, have concerns that it would at least be a mere pause before further Israeli aggression.

Even if Israel went along with the two-state option, giving greater freedoms and jurisdiction to Palestine and the West Bank, they'd still be somehow reliant on Israel.

Again, that's not something that they will not want to accept, and this is before the understandable desire to retain all their land (a bare min of 50% - 50% share).

Additionally, many Zionists on the other hand will not be happy to settle for the status-quo, with again somewhat justifiable concerns of further aggression.

So basically, unless the extremists, bigots and zealots on each side make compromises and the general populace are able to (an extent) forgive and forget...

... this isn't going to end any time soon. Supporters on either side will continue to reply to accusations with the ol', "Well, remember when you did this..."

I hope the cops give these right-wing amoebas a proper thrashing.

I was going to say, as @Tipp blue rightly mentioned, Palestine / The Holy Land has been marred with violence and oppression throughout its history.

Without talking or making any suggestion about the rights and wrongs of each incident of violence, my point is that it's frequently been a land of confrontation.

Sadly, I can't see that changing any time soon because it'll require compromises that neither side are currently willing to make - again, not choosing a side

Ultimately I see Israel tormenting and murdering Palestinians while taking their lands and being backed by the biggest war machine the world has known. It’s out and out injustice and isrsel need to be stopped.
There is zero defence of what they do

So you are saying that Western peoples and governments should ALWAYS protect and secure Jewish political will, no matter what?
No I'm saying changing that will lead to bloodshed on a bigger scale than we are seeing now, the only thing keeping Isreal safe from it's many neighbours who want to see it completely destroyed is western influence..
Come up with another solution that wont cause a new holocaust and I'll listen.

But the point is, because of Israeli, Jewish self importance, narcissism. They’d happily start ww3 because of their own self-importance. I on the other hand don’t see this and have no inclination about getting dragged into such a conflict on their behalf.
