It's so bad even the media can't ignore it. Over here, NBC and ABC are running it front and center. CBS and CNN are talking about it, but have the Trump coverage front and center unless the latest from Gaza is that bad. MSNBC is keeping their coverage nice and buried (and talks to Israelis half the time). Fox is still all the way down the Israel rabbit hole.

A figure in excess of a thousand civilian deaths: the Israeli's will have 'gamed' that in preparations for just such an opportunity...which is what that Oct 7th attack represented for them. It'd have been the shocking figure they could use as a pretext for genocide in Gaza.

I'd be very surprised if half of the (probably less than) thousand deaths weren't caused by the IDF in fire fights with Hamas - who weren't giving a flying one about civilians.

If we add on the likely annihilation of 200 or so hostages in Gaza there's every chance that the majority of Israeli civilians killed in this conflict in the end will have been killed by Israel itself.

I wonder when all the dust settles on this if we'll see it all come out?

The more I read around the subject it's becoming more and more obvious that the Israeli government and military have covered up a massacre by their own side upon their own people. Sure, Hamas instigated (or were allowed to instigate) it all. But something feels very 'set up' about this war.
