I was going to say, as @Tipp blue rightly mentioned, Palestine / The Holy Land has been marred with violence and oppression throughout its history.

Without talking or making any suggestion about the rights and wrongs of each incident of violence, my point is that it's frequently been a land of confrontation.

Sadly, I can't see that changing any time soon because it'll require compromises that neither side are currently willing to make - again, not choosing a side.
