I agree, and I'm not defending their (Israel's) current actions at all. However, my point was the region has been marred with bigotry, oppression and violence.

Like with the Balkans, common sense, peace and compromise just simply don't compute. It's hard to grasp how ingrained it is unless you've been there.

Rightly or wrongly, I can't see either side making the compromises needed, nor can I see other nation states helping facilitate the changes needed from both sides.

There isn’t a country on earth without history of conflict. This one though is being played out for all to see, one side totally destroying the other and no one does anything. It’s the sense of injustice that really smarts. The silence from Ruth’s leaders, not even silence but approval for what idrsel does is astonishing

That and the nuclear technology that they stole from their Western “Friends”, along with other military technology. You know maybe people in the West would maybe have more sympathy for Israel if they conducted themselves in a respectable manner rather than running around like a “mad” dog biting anyone it pleases without consequence. Of course Israel doesn’t abide by International Nuclear treaties, it special.

Indeed, so let’s all get drawn into WW3 for Israel and the Jewish people.
As I posted earlier, their influence over Western governments, institutions needs to be diminished massively. We are not here to serve the needs of Israel or the Jewish people.

So yes I have had sympathy for Isreal who are the only side who have made efforts to have a peace.. I have felt that the occupation is a result of the lack of intrest in peace coming from the other side. Were these offers of a 2 state solution legitimate we'll never know because it was always met with aggression from Palistine.
That's why I have been pro Isreal.. now it's changing as a result of this period of war.
