...and that is from Save the Children Fund NOT Hamas. Just to be clear, it is total annual or per annum in each year not cumulative total - it is still an absolute disgrace and is war crime.

The number of children reported killed in just three weeks in Gaza is more than the number killed in armed conflict globally – across more than 20 countries – over the course of a whole year, for the last three years.

Reading now IDF found fragments of her skull. Partial beheading mentioned and that president announcement. What ever is truth it's sad.

None of us are justifying terrorism or kidnapping by Hamas.

The Israeli Government response is grossly disproportionate, with some 8,000 people including some 4000 children dead and hundreds of thousands homeless.

The late Rabbi Goldberg in the Dispatches doc of 2009 clearly says that Israel is conducting apartheid policies. They had also invaded Gaza in 08/09, killing some 1400 people.

This is exponentially worse than that, and that was an atrocity.

Israel is making itself a pariah in international terms, rejecting the eeasonable resolution supported by 121 members, calling it 'infamy'.

The International Criminal Court is now examining what has happened in Gaza and by Hamas on Oct 7th.

But of course Israel is not a member of the ICC!!

I feel so sad and helpless looking at this tragedy. All I can do is pray that the slaughter and suffering comes to an end quickly.

Finally, in the 30 years of the Northern Ireland ,'Troubles', there were tragically many deaths on all sides.

In those 30 years the total deaths were about 3,500 - 3500 too many. But less than half the total killed already in a few weeks in Gaza.

That is a chilling fact.

Everyone who saw that footage of her body on the back of the truck knows more than the president of Israel. At least when that was filmed she was not beheaded, totally or partially and to be honest it worries me that they would say something so easily disprovable and the media wouldn't call them on it.
